Day 1 of Training...

Well today was the first day of training for the Gasparilla and Gate River Run races. I hope you are ready to train with me. Today I ran 3 miles...albeit painful and long...it was accomplished all the same. Get those running shoes on!

The blog title says it all...we just need a little bit of patience (it'll take time to get up to that 15K run), perseverance (don't give up), and confidence (you can do it!)...and I know we can.
Tomorrow is a light day according to the schedule I'm following (www.halhigdon.com 15K novice schedule).
Monday: Stretch and Strength.

Stay strong, healthy and don't forget to breathe.
It's just one foot in front of the other. Doesn't matter how fast or slow you go, just go the distance!
